Little Nature Tots is an outdoor stay and playgroup for children aged 6m- 5 years. We provide various invitations to learning using the outdoors and many natural materials. Children will be able to access a variety of open ended resources carefully linked to their early development. Areas of play include: Mud kitchen, water play, construction, role play, sand and mark making.

Little Nature Tots is an outdoor, all weathers stay and play group for little ones, providing child led play sessions aimed at babies, tots and children from around 6 months of age up to 5 years old 🍄.

We are NOW located near Beauvale House. You will need to drive to High Park Cottages, Moorgreen, Nottingham, NG16 3QZ 📍When you arrive you will see an access to drive through onto the field. Please park in the designated areas and then follow signs to the entrance to Little Nature Tots.

Our play group sessions currently run on Thursdays and Friday Mornings ⌚

The aim of Little Nature Tots is to ignite a love of learning in the early years through nature based invitations to play and open up the magic of the great outdoors. We are passionate about developing curiousity, exploration and enjoyment through play from a young age ✨. We provide various invitations to learning using the outdoors and nature as our focus. Children will be able to access a variety of open ended resources carefully linked to their early development. Areas of play include: Mud kitchen, water play, construction, role play, sand and mark making. Themes will be changed regularly to keep the children engaged and interested in the learning opportunities.

At Little Nature Tots we aim to provide the opportunities for young children to develop a love of learning in the outdoors and to develop a sense of exploration and adventures for the world around them. We want children to play and learn freely in the safe space of the group.

All sessions are carefully planned and run by a fully qualified teacher and Level 2 forest school trained leader.

We welcome you to come along and socialise with like-minded families, take a break from the hustle and bustle of every day life and breathe in that fresh air, embracing all weathers and seasons 🌦️

Instructions

Little Nature Tots runs all year round whatever the weather so please ensure that you and your little one come suitably dressed. A spare pair of clothes and a towel are always useful as we have lots of water and mud play. In the colder months layers, puddle suits and wellies are ideal. In the summer months a hat and suncream are necessary.

If weather conditions are deemed extreme or unsafe then sessions will be cancelled and a refund will be given.

You are welcome to bring along hot drinks and snacks to enjoy throughout the session. For safety reasons we ask that all hot drinks are in an insulated flask with a lid and not left unattended during the session.

When you arrive please pull into the car park and park in an appropriate, designated area. Then please follow signs to Little Nature Tots.

Parents are required to stay for the entire duration of the session and they are fully responsible for their child at all times.

The cafe and farm shop will be open for refreshments, lunch and also local produce. We invite you to visit the cafe before or after a session. The cafe has a single portaloo which can be used if needed.

On entry to Little Nature Tots please sanitise your hands. This will be provided but please feel free to bring your own.

Please do not attend sessions if any member of your household is showing symptoms of COVID 19 or has in the 10 days prior to the sessions.
